Nokia 7 Plus to be Sold Exclusively on Amazon? Rumour or Truth?



As per recent reports, an event has been scheduled by HMD on April 4, 2018, in India. HMD has given hints that in this event, they will launch or talk about Android One phones in the market. A twitter user @IshanAgarwal24 has been in the limelight for this news as he has gathered up information from somewhere that the new Nokia 7 Plus will be available exclusively on Amazon for sale. There is a poster taking rounds on the internet which is claimed to be designed by this user and the poster shows that Nokia 7 Plus is an Amazon Exclusive product in India.

The phone will be sold during flash sales. There might be other Nokia phones too which will be covered in the event like Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 8 Sirocco but there is no news about them being exclusively available on Amazon. However, the original Nokia 6 was launched exclusively on Flipkart Offers. This time, the wind seems to have blown towards its rival giant, Amazon. It has not been confirmed by any of the official authorities of the companies involved so it cannot be assumed as the complete truth. The twitter user who spread this news, @IshanAgarwal24 is very sure about the launch of the mobile phone in India and on its Amazon Exclusive availability.

This phone, which will be a mid-range Android smartphone, was introduced by HMD Global in February 2018 at its Mobile World Congress. There also has been a teaser released on the company’s sponsorship with Kolkata Knight Riders, which is an Indian Premier League (IPL) team. The teaser showed a phone which looks very similar to the physical look of Nokia 7 Plus. The phone will be priced around Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 in India. The original price of this phone revealed by HMD in Europe was 399 euros which is converted to Rs. 32,000 approximately.
